We spent 2 blissful nights at Villa Leftka Ori in early May and had a wonderful time there. Such a beautiful spot, the view is magnificent, the accommodation perfect, so comfortable and spacious and the hosts were a pleasure. It’s in a great location if you have a car, sweet little villages, beaches, a beautiful lake to swim in and restaurants. There were even local visiting sheep and a shepherd that comes through every day, lemons and oranges to pick and a lovely swimming pool. If you want to relax this is the place for you. Highly recommend.

The ride up to Villa Lefka Ori gave us an idea of what was waiting for us upon arrival, yet still we were left speechless as we walked through the magnificent garden and looked out on the view from the patio. Carole graciously hosted us and brought us tea while we sat and enjoyed the view and stories about Crete. The villa is spacious with high ceilings, light pouring in and only a few steps away awaits a gorgeous swimming pool surrounded by colorful flowers, plants and trees. Crete dreams are made of this!!!!

I had the pleasure of spending time with Carole at her lovely Villa Lefka Ori in Sellia in May, and even in the short time I was there, I was struck by how inviting and well-designed the place is. The mountain and valley views from the terraces are truly breathtaking, and the garden is peaceful and beautifully kept. The villa has a lovely large landscaped pool and two private bedroom units, making it a great choice for singles or couples, or friends to share. The kitchen is well equipped, and the overall atmosphere is that of a comfortable, well-loved vacation home. A wonderful spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Apokoronas region of Crete.

Villa Lefka Ori provided just what I needed after a very hectic summer. The sound of silence was palpable as I looked out from the balcony over the valley to the mountains and villages, the beautiful turquoise sea in the distance and just the occasional birdsong around me. The warm sun ☀️ all around but always a shady balcony or terrace to be found in this lovely villa. Sunlight and moonlight swims in the pool surrounded by the beautiful shrubs. If peace and quiet in the beautiful Cretan countryside is what you’re after – it’s here you need to be!

We’ve just spent a lovely short break at Villa Lefka Ori. What a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The top floor apartment is secluded and private, a real hideaway. The main bedroom is huge as is the ensuite bathroom, and with a lovely comfy bed and two separate sitting areas as well, what’s not to like! There is also a kitchenette with fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Of course there is also an enormous and completely private roof terrace with spectacular views of the white mountains – and a bit of a sea view too – and you overlook the pool as well. The pool and garden area are delightful and again completely private. Your hostess Carole, is simply lovely, and will do everything she can to make your stay memorable. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, then this will certainly do the job!

Villa Lefka Ori – An amazing, gorgeous, and large, high-end villa offering all the comforts and luxuries we enjoy in the United States. The large bathrooms with beautifully tiled walk-in showers were a pure joy! (No more miniscule Greek showercubicle where the shower curtains stick to one’s body with every move, lol!). Lovely bedrooms with comfy beds and private terraces. I wasn’t prepared, however, for the absolutely stunning view of the White Mountains or the gorgeous and private swimming pool surrounded by gardens!

The “off the beaten path” location of the villa was perfect! Away from the crowds while only a ten minute drive to my favorite beach town and fishing village of Georgioupoli and Kalivaki beach where a cold river empties into the sea providing one of the most unique incredible experiences I have ever had; The top of the sea is cold refreshing river water while the sea underneath is warm. Be sure to partake in the wine tasting offered by a vintner located within a mile of the villa, which I feel rivals the wine offered in Napa California.
I highly recommend Villa Lefka Ori for your vacation and retreat in Crete!
Villa Lefka Ori is the most beautiful villa I have stayed in, the views of the surrounding area and beyond are literally breathtaking. The pool is clean and well maintained and the gardens are so relaxing to sit in and enjoy your Greek experience. The Villa is large and clean with ample room for family, friends or a wedding party. The top terrace has the most amazing views of all!
