Villa Lefka Ori is a very private and luxurious home with unbeatable views. The hill top village of Sellia sits on a ridge at 300m and its panoramic views are well known. From here you can view the entire White Mountain range, see villages across the valley and glimpse the sea in Souda Bay.

The first villa owner, a british engineer, was very particular in the design and construction of this unique villa. He chose an architect to create an eye catching double height dining room, position bedrooms and bathrooms to give each one its privacy, design arches around the terraces to frame the views of the mountain peaks, and create a beautiful master suite on the top floor. He chose a respected builder to construct the villa to the highest specification in 2001.

Hidden along a small lane from the main village road and surrounded by olive groves, the villa has its own grove of 40 trees producing the highest quality oil. One secret of the village is our 5^th generation winemaker. In his beautifully restored stone building and tasting area, you can sample very fine red, white or rose wines while he talks about the history of wine making within his family.. This is one of those very special experiences of being in an authentic Cretan village.

Sellia may be hidden away, yet it is within easy reach of the popular venetian towns of Chania and Rethymnon, being midway between the two. Also nearby are a number of seaside and inland villages, and some beautiful beaches. A local favourite sandy cove in Georgioupoli is only a 12 minute drive away.
